We have been doing a lot of different art and craft activities in the class. And this time we did some stamping !!
Actually, the theme for the month was “Birds”. Luckily, I had a set of Bird stamps lying around at home which I took to the class. Once we were through with our lessons for the day (which I deliberately kept a little light for that day) we sat down to do some “Bird Stamping” !!
Materials used:
- plain A4 sheets
- bird stamps
- stamp pads – red, green, blue and black.
I joined my 4 tables so that the kiddies could sit in a kind of a circle – everyone looking at each other. I gave each kid a plain A4 sheet and stamp pads. Since we were short of the stamp pads, all of them shared very nicely !!
We had some 12 different birds’ stamps, which all kids exchanged and shared and stamped on their sheets.
I made sure that we had about an hour for the activity so that the kids stamped all they wanted to their heart’s extent.
And as expected, “Bird Stamping” was a big hit among my students !! They were gushing about it to their parents when it was time to go home.
