Fox and the Grapes

It was time for another story for my kiddies. And this time it was – Fox and the Grapes.

For this I just made a Fox Popsicle Puppet. I had some plastic branches of leaves with me which I stuck on the board. Also, I stapled a couple of grapes cut outs on the branches.

I narrated the story to the children with the help of the fox puppet.

The story was simple and short and we did it daily. At the end of the seventh day, we did a little craft related to the activity. I gave all the children white A4 sheet cutout in circles, and they colored it with red crayon.

The, keeping the red colored circle face up, I folded the paper  from both sides as you can see in the pic below.

Then with a black marker I made the eyes and snout of the fox.

Finally, the kids stuck the foxes in their respective scrap books. Later, I wrote the name of the story over it and drew some grapes at the top corner of the page. The kids colored them with green crayons.

Though the activity was planned on a very short notice, I think we did an Ok job with it 🙂
