I had got some coloring pages of Ocean Animals from a friend. They were loose sheets. So I decided to do different types of painting and coloring on them.
We did spray painting on frog, sponge painting on the lobster and Q-tip cluster painting on the octopus. Also, we had a dolphin on which we did comb painting.
On rest of the ocean animals – we used crayons. We colored the fish in simple yellow color. For the crocodile, shark, tortoise, sea horse and crab, I placed different objects like a piece of net, wavy cardboard etc. underneath the coloring page. This gave a textured effect while coloring.
Next, I cut them all out and kept aside. Then, I took a white chart paper and painted it in blue – for water and light brown at the bottom to mark sand. I also cut out some sea weed from green colored paper and placed it on the sides.
Lastly, I placed all the ocean animals on the chart
