During the holidays/vacations, it is really hard to find out ways and means to keep the toddlers engaged the whole day as their attention span is very short lived. You are constantly on your toes and they will follow you everywhere in the house!!!

Even if you tell them mommy is going to the kitchen and will be back in 10 minutes, they will be there within 2 minutes of it and ask you “mommy what are you doing?”

We usually wait for daddy to be home so that we can have some time to ourselves. But for poor fellows like me, whose husband’s office timings are such that they have their kids to themselves the entire evening, it can be a tough n tiring time.

One of my friends, Divya faces the same problem. So we both got together and found a solution!!! We decided to take them out to different toddler areas in our city.

Here are the details from our first outing to Fun Factory, Sector 9, Chandigarh!

It’s a beautiful and nice place with lots of things to do for the kids ! slides, gym area, pretend play kitchen et al.

The main attraction at Fun factory is the tree house  (wish I had taken a better picture – will click a better one and share one next time we visit the place) and the cage with love birds in it!! Both the kids went mad and shrieked with delight when the climbed into the tree house!

The kids were very well taken care of by the helpers and Divya n I enjoyed our chit chat with drinks and sandwich at the small but awesome café.

Also, they have turned a partition wall into a lovely area for clicking kids photos.. so when they were done with the play hour, we clicked them both on the way back !!

All in all, Fun factory is a wonderful place where you get to spend time with friends, leaving your kids in a safe and happy place !!
