This time around, we chose to paint stones for our activity. Though it has been done earlier too, but the painting skills of kids has become better with time.

While my fellow teacher and I were thinking of what special design should we go for, she came up with an interesting idea of making personalized stones for the kids. We specially picked out the pearl finish paints for giving them a shining effect.

The kids had a ball painting their stones and were very careful with every stroke.

It was a pleasure watching them concentrating on their painting.

As the kids finished painting their stones, I laid them out on an old newspaper. I wrote the kid’s name on the newspaper and placed his / her stone under it so that they did not get mixed up.

Once they dried off, I wrote every child’s name on his / her stone with a permanent black marker. I believe they look just awesome !

And we did some photography with it too 😉
